At the moment, we have a VISO drawing but a recent change required us to basically draw the plan again.
The actual problem is to capture data for a building’s central heating system with radiators on several floors. We need to store the connecting pipe properties (dimension, length, material etc) for each branch on each floor with pipes of varying dimensions and different size radiators. When a central pipe, branch or radiator is modified, the drawing needs to be updated. The extact position of the pipes and radiators on the plan does not matter as long as the connections remain.
