Chris Berman has taken his Swami Sez NFL picks segment, seen on SportsCenter, to ESPN Chalk. Each week during the NFL regular season, hell give his favorite picks against the spread here with a little further analysis.Season record:?46-23 ATS (last week: 2-3)?New England Patriots at Denver BroncosThis is one of the few venues that New England has struggled at during the Tom Brady/Bill Belichick regime, as they are just 2-7 straight up and against the number in Denver. Last years loss here cost the Patriots home-field advantage and a potential trip to the Super Bowl, but this years Broncos team isnt quite the same as last years. Denvers remaining three games are against the only AFC teams with better records. The Broncos D will give all that it has but will come up just a little short.Score: New England 20, Denver 19Oakland Raiders at San Diego ChargersI expect an old-fashioned AFL shootout in this one, in a stadium that will be full of Raiders fans. San Diego played Oakland close the first time, and even though Melvin Gordon is out, I believe the Chargers will get up for this one. San Diegos?Antonio Gates is two TDs behind Tony Gonzalez for the all-time TD record for tight ends, and time is running out to get that. Look for that connection to make some noise. San Diego wearing the powder blues? Rivers gets the ball last and gets it done.Score: San Diego 28, Oakland 27Tennessee Titans at Kansas City ChiefsIts going to be frigid Sunday in Kansas City, which should point to the running game of Tennessee having success, but I dont know how many cold games Marcus Mariota has played in. I think that could work against him a little here. The Chiefs dont score a lot, but their defense is strong, even with Derrick Johnson lost for the season. Kansas City will be motivated by a shot to still be the top seed in the AFC. Its time for the Chiefs?to make Harry Houdini inactive for this one and just claim a normal win. The front seven will be the difference here.Score: Kansas City 22, Tennessee 14Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston TexansThe Texans seem to be a different team at home, as they are 5-1 at Reliant Stadium (and 4-0 in the AFC South). Brock Osweiler has been far from impressive, but this defense is coming on with Jadeveon Clowney & Co., and I still think theyre going to win this division. The Jaguars simply cant get out of their own way, and another Blake Bortles turnover seems destined to doom them here.Score: Houston 24, Jacksonville 13Detroit Lions at New York GiantsMatthew Staffords finger is definitely a concern, but he has led the Lions to fourth-quarter comeback wins in eight of their nine victories, so why cant he come back from a finger issue? The story of this game to me is that both defenses are quietly playing better than expected. Neither team can really run the ball, so expect this to be a close, low-scoring game. I like Detroit by a field goal.Score: Detroit 23, New York Giants 20Keith Moreland Cubs Jersey .com) - The game was all punts and field goals before Kodi Whitfields catch. Jon Lester Jersey . "It doesnt get any better than that," Giambi said. "Im speechless." The Indians are roaring toward October. Giambi belted a two-run, pinch-hit homer with two outs in the ninth inning to give Cleveland a shocking 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night, keeping the Indians up with the lead pack in the AL wild-card race. https://www.cheapcubs.com/490t-addison-russell-jersey-cubs.html . To the surprise of many, it isnt the Wolverines but their in-state rivals the Michigan State Spartans. Sammy Sosa Jersey . And follow TSN.ca right through Deadline Day for all the updates. From Pierre LeBrun While Anaheim GM Bob Murray said earlier this season he was not going to trade Jonas Hiller despite the fact hes an unrestricted free agent on July 1, some sources have told TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun that Murray might be willing to move another goalie. The freshman from Vaughan, Ont.NSW Premier Mike Baird is showing outrageous confidence in his states two AFL finalists, declaring one of them will win this years flag and predicting they will meet again in the grand final. The first all-Sydney AFL finals game will happen on Saturday week at ANZ Stadium with the minor premiership-winning Swans playing the fourth-placed Giants. It will be the first of three successive weekends a final will be played in Sydney. The dream is a Swans-Giants grand final, I dont think thats much of a dream anymore - I think thats going to be a reality, Premier Baird said.Ill call it here first: Ive got no doubt that one of these two teams are going to win the grand final this year. The Premier wasnt about to offend supporters of either Sydney club, saying he was a fan of both.He wasnt quite so diplomatic towards Victoria, cheekily suggesting an all-Sydney grand final should be shifted to the Harbour City.Ive already told the premier of Victoria that I look forward to a Swans-Giants grand final. WWouldnt that be sweet? Premier Baird said.ddddddddddddThe only question would have to be why on earth would you have to go to Melbourne to play it. Thats really the point. We can have it here (in Sydney).Sydney hasnt been renowned as a hotbed of Australian rules, but Premier Baird suggested that was changing and aimed another tongue-in-cheek verbal dart at Melbourne. The AFL is undoubtedly catching a light here in this great city and across the state, he said.I think were going to show those Melburnians how to play AFL (sic) over the coming weeks.NSW Minister for Sport Stuart Ayres was in an equally bullish and hyperbolic mood when it came to spruiking the significance of his states first AFL finals derby, describing it as a battle for the ages.Just get out to ANZ Stadium on September 10th and look at one of the all-time great blockbusters of AFL, Mr Ayres said.
