IBARAKI, Japan -- Ariya Jutanugarn chipped in for birdie on the final hole Friday for a 6-under 66 and a share of the lead in the TOTO Japan Classic, the LPGA Tours first tournament in the Tokyo area since 1991.Jutanugarn birdied six of the last 11 holes in a bogey-free round at fan-packed Taiheiyo Club, holing out from 35 feet on the par-4 18th to join Soo-Yun Kang atop the first-round leaderboard. The 20-year-old Thai star also chipped in on the par-4 10th.I played good, Jutanugarn said. I missed a few tee shots, but I made some putts and those chips.Jutanugarn leads the LPGA Tour with five victories and has a 13-point lead over Lydia Ko in the player of the year standings, not that shes looking that far ahead.Right now, no, Jutanugarn said I just try to have fun and enjoy every shot that I hit the ball. Thats what Im trying to do.After a week in steamy and stormy Malaysia, the players wore jackets and sweaters in cool conditions on the pine tree-lined Minori Course. Jutanugarn tied for 43rd in Kuala Lumpur after finishing third the previous week in China.Last week, I was just a little bit off with my tee shot, Jutanugarn said. Today, I just tried to be a little bit more positive and not think about last week and try to have more fun.Kang birdied three of her final four holes and said she was happy with her putting. The 40-year-old South Korean player won the LPGA Tours 2005 Safeway Classic and is a regular on the Japan LPGA. She won the Suntory Ladies Open in June for her second Japanese title.I like Japan, people here, foods, and everything, Kang said.Stacy Lewis and Jenny Shin shot 67. Lewis won the 2012 event at Kintetsu Kashikojima.I think you have to be a good ball striker to play well here, the Texan said about Japan. I just like being here. Its one of my favorite countries that we visit. I think you just kind of come with good vibes.Wearing a jacket and rain pants to keep warm on the sunny day, Lewis rebounded from a bogey on the par-4 15th with a birdie on the par-5 17th. The 11-time tour champion is winless in 61 starts since June 2014.She tied for 33rd in Malaysia in her first start since September.I took five weeks off, Lewis said. I didnt play a lot this fall and only played two over in Asia. I just needed a break. It was like starting the year again. She married University of Houston womens golf coach Gerrod Chadwell in August.Things definitely are changing, Lewis said. Ive changed my schedule, changed the way I do things. You just have different priorities and kind of realize there are other things to life other than just playing golf all the time. The schedule is going to change because of it, but that doesnt change how you play on the golf course. You can still win. You just have a little bit more enjoyment off the course.Ha Na Jang and Sandra Gal were two strokes back at 68 in the sixth and final event on the LPGA Tours fall Asian swing. Jang won last month in Taiwan for her third victory of the year.Chinas Shanshan Feng, the winner in Malaysia, topped the group at 69 along with Minjee Lee, Suzann Pettersen, Cristie Kerr, So Yeon Ryu and 2008 and 2010 winner Jiyai Shin. Lee won two weeks ago in China for her second victory of the year. Shin won the JLPGA event last week in Saitama.American Lexi Thompson birdied the final hole for a 73. In May in Japan, she won the JLPGAs World Ladies Championship Salonpas Cup.The top-ranked Ko had a 74, making two birdies and four bogeys.I didnt strike the ball very well, Ko said. The driver and irons, nothing was really clicking, and when its like that overall its really hard to give yourself a lot of birdie opportunities. I struck the ball a little better on the back nine, but still it wasnt great.Gary Matthews caddied for Ko and also will carry her bag in the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. Ko fired Jason Hamilton and used Sargunan Suntharaj last week in Malaysia. Hamilton teamed with Jang after his firing. We had a few days to work with each other, and I think its been going pretty good, Ko said. I think when Im out there I need to trust him and he trusts me. Its been fine. I need to do my role better. Hit the ball better and all that, but its been good and hes got a lot of experience and he brings that to the game. Russ Grimm Womens Jersey . Walcott is available for Saturdays home match against Southampton as Arsenal looks to extend its two-point lead at the top of the Premier League. The Gunners are currently the second highest scorers in the league but Wenger insists Walcott will add something extra to his team. Hi Kerry, Heres an interesting one. I know its common knowledge that all players are responsible for their sticks. We witnessed that when Zack Kassian hit Edmontons Sam Gagner in the face after a missed check. Wes Martin Jersey . U.S. District Judge Lorna G. Schofield in Manhattan agreed that lawyers on both sides could make their formal requests by Nov. 8. A hearing is scheduled for a day earlier. Jordan Siev, a lawyer for Rodriguez, wrote in a joint letter to the judge from lawyers on both sides that MLB lawyers planned to ask that the lawsuit be dismissed. Doug Williams Jersey . -- About a third of the way through the regular season, the Washington Wizards are at . The NFL is down to one unbeaten team and, just as everyone expected after Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater were injured, its the Minnesota Vikings.Seriously? Yes, somehow, despite losing the 2012 MVP for at least several weeks and a starting quarterback for the entire season, not to mention putting their best offensive lineman (Matt Kalil) on injured reserve and missing their best receiver (Stefon Diggs) this week, Minnesota is 5-0 as it heads into its bye.Thats been the greatest thing about this team so far -- just its resiliency, quarterback Sam Bradford said. Weve overcome a lot of hurdles, some adversity early in the year. ... Weve had a lot of guys answer the call. And so the Vikings are atop the NFL with the season roughly a third of the way through. Not the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos, who absorbed their first loss Sunday. Not the Philadelphia Eagles, who also lost for the first time this week.Certainly not the defending NFC champion Carolina Panthers, who won only one of their first four games and lost Cam Newton to a concussion in the process. And not the New England Patriots (more on them later). The main reason, to be sure, for Minnesotas success is its tremendously good defense, chock full of talented players such as Xavier Rhodes, Eric Kendricks and Harrison Smith and overseen by head coach Mike Zimmer. That unit held the Houston Texans to 214 net yards in Minnesotas 31-13 victory Sunday. But plenty of credit needs to go to Bradford, who has thrown for six TDs and zero interceptions. He deserves an apology from everyone who mocked the Vikings for shipping a first-round draft choice (plus another pick) to the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire him.Only two clubs in the past 83 years started 5-0 without giving up an interception, and Minnesota is one of them. Were not satisfied, Bradford said. Obviously its early in the year. We havent accomplished anything yet.In case you missed it, here are the other top topics after the NFL seasons fifth Sunday:BRADYS BACK: You may or may not have heard about a certain Patriots QBs four-game Deflategate suspension. Tom Brady returned to action and looked as good as ever, throwing for 406 yards, three TDs and zero interceptions in a 33-113 win against the hapless and winless Cleveland Browns.dddddddddddd Brady showed what he can do with a pair of terrific tight ends in Rob Gronkowski and new teammate Martellus Bennett, who combined for 11 catches, 176 yards and 3 TDs (the scoring passes all went to Bennett). Hey, Tom, good to be back? Ready to take your anger at Commissioner Roger Goodell out on every opponent? It felt very much like a normal week for me, Brady said. Bill Belichick must be proud of that answer.BAD NEWS CHARGERS: San Diego keeps finding new ways to lose close games. This time, it was a bobbled snap on a 36-yard field-goal try that could have tied the game late in a 34-31 defeat at Oakland. A TV camera caught San Diego QB Philip Rivers on the sideline saying what appeared to be the phrase Bad News Bears. San Diego is 1-4, with the losses by a combined 14 points. Coach Mike McCoys job cant be all that safe, can it?SPECIAL AND NOT-SO-SPECIAL: There were three punt returns for TDs of 74 or more yards on the same day for the first time in NFL history: Washingtons Jamison Crowder went 85 for a score, Minnesotas Marcus Sherels went 79, and Miamis Jakeem Grant went 74. There was some awful special teams play, too. In addition to the Chargers blunder, there were flubbed fake kicks by the Ravens, Rams and Steelers.DALLAS DUO: As much as the Cowboys might say Tony Romos job is his to keep when he returns from his latest back injury, it sure seems itll be tough to bench Dak Prescott. Dallas is 4-1 after beating Cincinnati 28-14 as Prescott threw for 227 yards and a score; he has yet to throw a pick. The Cowboys are the first team in NFL history with a rookie QB with 1,000 yards passing and a rookie RB (Ezekiel Elliott) with 500 yards rushing after five games. Elliott has three consecutive 130-yards-rushing outings, equaling Emmitt Smiths club record, and his total of 546 on the ground so far is higher than 23 teams have.---Follow Howard Fendrich on Twitter at http://twitter.com/HowardFendrich---Online:AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and AP NFL Twitter feed: http://twitter.com/AP-NFL ' ' '
