SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Wofford linebacker Michael Roach was released from a Tennessee hospital after he collapsed on the sideline in the third quarter of his teams victory over Tennessee Tech.Roach was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition that thickens the heart walls and can inhibit blood flow. He said that condition had not been previously detected. He had a cardioverter defibrillator implanted in his heart Friday.Roach said he went into cardiac arrest on Woffords sideline and for 45 seconds had no pulse and was not breathing.
