Off Topic » Windows 7 screen size small than monitor

Hi,

For no apparent reason the screen size ( normal until i receive user login screen ) on my Windows 7 desktop has a 3 inch black column on the right hand side of screen. Reset screen resolution to recommended setting, still exactly the same....

Any advice and guidance?
