Off Topic » What is the best sound recorder for iMac

Hello,

I'm trying to learn all the differences between PC and iMac. This is an important one to me; for years, I've used Total Recorder to record music from the internet. Since Total Recorder doesn't work on Mac, I downloaded iSkysoft, but so far haven't been able to figure it out. Is there a better program? Also, sort of related: I frequently receive
zip files of operas. On the PC, I could down load them to a flash drive and then play them. Now when I download one, I can't find it and end of with several copies and not just one file, but maybe six if iit's a long opera with several acts. Is there a simpler way?
