They host New Mexico State on Sept. 17.Tennessee and Virginia Tech make history This game has been years in the making and finally it will happen on Saturday (8 p.m. ET, ABC) when Tennessee and Virginia Tech meet at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. It took workers 19 days to transform the quarter-mile NASCAR track into a football facility that is expected to draw 150,000 fans, which would be a record for an American football game.
