Uplay wont install: says more recent version is installed ?

hello,

I uninstalled Uplay and then I wanted to reinstall it. Whenever I try to reinstall it says I have a more recent version already installed but I uninstalled it from the control panel and erased everything to do with 'Ubisoft' and 'Uplay'. I got Far Cry 3 and I want to play it but it won't let me install Unplay?
